Moderated by Chris Hodgens, Partner, and
presented by his colleagues Daniel Burkhart,
Corporate M&A lawyer, and Dominic Sharman,
Dispute Resolution lawyer, this session will focus on
three key concepts and/or clauses on which
businesses, or the counterparties with whom they
transact, may seek to rely on, in relation to the
ongoing COVID 19 crisis.
Force majeure, frustration and material adverse
change clauses relate directly to challenges faced
by many companies at present, but these concepts
and/or clauses differ in numerous ways
Dan and Dom will explain how the concepts differ
and discuss certain practical advice related to these
potentially invaluable tools.
